Creativity Shines on the Runway at Brand Protection Symposium
After a morning of engaging speeches and discussions, the first-ever Brand Protection Symposium took an exciting turn as the runway lit up with creativity, innovation, and bold expressions of identity.
The fashion exhibition comprised Uganda’s emerging and established designers, each showcasing creations that blended heritage with modern flair.
Adding sparkle to the evening were professional models from Crystal Models Africa, one of Uganda’s leading modeling agencies, the outfits worn by the models told a story of resilience, creativity, and ambition.
Their catwalks and presence on stage brought each design to life, transforming fabric into living art and drawing loud applause from the audience.
The exhibition was about style, beauty, and untold stories, but also about recognition. A panel of judges led by the popular Abryanz carefully evaluated the collections for originality, execution, and brand vision.
In the end, a winner was crowned, while several other designers received certificates of participation, a celebration of both craft and innovation.
Organizers noted that the runway was a practical lesson that the beautiful creations and ideas must be protected. Designers were reminded that their creations, just like the ones displayed on stage, deserve safeguarding through intellectual property tools.
The evening closed with cheers, photos, and the promise of greater opportunities for Uganda’s creative community. For many, it was a reminder that the runway is not only a place of glamour but also a powerful platform for business growth and brand identity.
