URSB Joins Church Leaders to Celebrate Launch of Bishop Orombi’s Inspiring Memoir

The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), led by Registrar General Ms. Mercy K. Kainobwisho, joined religious leaders, dignitaries and well-wishers on Sunday evening at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel to celebrate the launch of The Man Who Heard Every Heart, the memoir of former Church of Uganda Archbishop Bishop Henry Luke Orombi.

The colourful ceremony was presided over by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, while renowned businessman Charles Mbire served as Chief Guest.

The event attracted senior clergy, government officials, corporate leaders, family and friends who gathered to honour Bishop Orombi’s enduring legacy of faith, servant leadership and national influence.

Authored by Grace Joy Nakalema, the memoir traces Bishop Orombi’s life from humble beginnings to his transformative leadership as Archbishop of the Church of Uganda.

The book highlights his firm commitment to evangelism, reconciliation, compassionate leadership, and strengthening the Anglican Church in Uganda and beyond.

Speaking at the launch, guests described the memoir as an important contribution to Uganda’s religious and historical literature, noting that it preserves valuable lessons for future generations.

They encouraged Christians, young leaders and the public to read the book and draw inspiration from Bishop Orombi’s remarkable journey of faith and service.

Each guest received a complimentary copy of the memoir.
