URSB Extends Business Rescue Training to Masaka to Support Enterprise Growth
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) has continued with its regional Business Rescue and Aftercare Programme (BRAP) trainings, reaching entrepreneurs and business owners in Masaka to strengthen their ability to manage, recover, and build sustainable enterprises.
URSB conducted a three-day BRAP training at Marple Leaf Hotel in Masaka from 15th to 17th June 2026, for practical learning on business recovery, resilience, compliance, and growth.
The training is part of a series of regional BRAP engagements being conducted across the country to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to navigate business challenges, improve operations, and remain competitive.

Implemented in partnership with the International Development Law Organisation (IDLO), the programme focused on key areas including business planning, governance, risk management, compliance, and strategies for long-term business sustainability.
The tworkshop also featured a compliance panel session, bringing together representatives from the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS), Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA), and Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
The session highlighted the importance of government synergies in supporting enterprises by providing businesses with guidance on regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and opportunities for growth.
Participants were guided on how to identify business challenges early, develop recovery plans, strengthen internal management practices, and put in place measures that can help their enterprises remain stable and sustainable.
Through BRAP, URSB continues to work with partners and other government institutions to promote a supportive business environment where enterprises can recover, grow, and contribute to Uganda’s economic development.
