URSB TAKES MASS BUSINESS REGISTRATION CLINICS TO BULOBA AND NANSANA
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is taking its Mass Business Registration Initiative to Buloba Town Council and Nansana Municipality from 12–16 October 2026, bringing registration services closer to entrepreneurs and small business owners.
The clinics aim to help businesses register conveniently, understand the benefits of formalisation and access information on URSB services without necessarily travelling to the Bureau’s offices.
The initiative supports Uganda’s efforts to expand the formal economy by making registration more accessible to businesses operating in communities.
Through the clinics, entrepreneurs can receive guidance on registering business names and companies, understanding registration requirements and appreciating the importance of operating formally.

Formal registration can strengthen business credibility, improve access to financing and business opportunities, support contractual relationships and help enterprises establish a foundation for sustainable growth.
Commenting on the initiative, Ms. Patricia Opoka, Assistant Commissioner, Registration Services, said: “Our goal is to bring registration services closer to the people and make formalisation easier for every entrepreneur. We encourage business owners in Buloba and Nansana to take advantage of these clinics, register their enterprises and unlock the opportunities that come with operating formally.”
The Mass Business Registration Initiative reflects URSB’s commitment to promoting formalisation, improving customer experience and supporting the growth of Uganda’s business community
