URSB Leadership Tours JLOS Towers Ahead of Occupation
The Registrar General, Ms Mercy K. Kainobwisho, last week led a team of members of top management on a guided tour of the newly constructed JLOS Towers in Naguru, highlighting strengthening collaboration within Uganda’s justice sector.
The delegation was received and taken through the modern facility by Sam Rogers Wairagala, Deputy Senior Technical Advisor at the Justice, Law and Order Sector Secretariat. The visit provided URSB’s leadership with an opportunity to appreciate the progress made as preparations for occupation of the building move closer to completion.

The JLOS Towers are a major milestone for the Justice, Law and Order Sector, designed to house several justice-related institutions under one roof. The development is expected to strengthen coordination among sector players and enhance efficiency in delivering services to the public.
During the tour, the URSB team was briefed on the facility’s key features and the ongoing final works aimed at ensuring the building is ready for occupation in the coming months. The visit also highlighted the importance of collaboration among institutions tasked with delivering justice and regulatory services in Uganda.
Speaking during the engagement, Ms. Kainobwisho restated URSB’s commitment to strengthening partnerships within JLOS to improve service delivery.
URSB congratulated the JLOS Secretariat on the milestone and expressed optimism about continued collaboration in advancing a more coordinated, accessible, and effective justice system for all Ugandans.
