“Thanksgiving Is an Attitude of Gratitude — It Turns What We Have Into Enough.”

During a spirited Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast held at the UBFC Car Park, guest preacher Pr. Samuel Kajoba, President of the Uganda Union Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, delivered an uplifting message centered on gratitude, resilience, and faith.

The gathering, held under the theme “Thankful for Today’s Achievements and Believing for a Better Tomorrow,” offered staff an opportunity to reflect on the year’s accomplishments and seek renewed strength for the year ahead.

Pr. Kajoba, described as “anointed to speak and ready to inspire,” reminded the congregation that gratitude is not merely a momentary expression but a sustaining attitude. “Thanksgiving is an attitude of gratitude. Yet gratitude unlocks the furnace of life. It turns what we have into enough,” he emphasized, drawing nods of agreement from attendees.

He encouraged staff to recognize God’s grace in every victory and every breath. “You are what you are because of God. You have completed this year because of God. Your heart is pumping for the years you have been here,” he said. “I am alive because of Him.”

Looking forward, Pr. Kajoba inspired confidence in the future, assuring listeners that divine guidance remains constant. “We have completed 2025 in Him; we are also going to overcome 2026 in Him. Let nobody threaten you. Nobody is controlling the world except Him.”
