URSB’s Siraje Mutale Honoured for Excellence in Time Management at ICPAU Annual Seminar

Mr. Siraj Mutale, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), was recognized with the Time Management Award by Standard Chartered Bank at the 30th Annual Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) Seminar, held at the Imperial Resort Beach Hotel in Entebbe.

The award, presented during the gathering of accounting professionals, celebrates individuals who demonstrate exceptional discipline, punctuality, and commitment to the timely delivery of work.

Mr. Mutale, who has distinguished himself in his service at URSB, was commended for consistently exemplifying one of the Bureau’s core values of professionalism and accountability. Mr. Mutale has kept his reputation for always being on time and his unwavering commitment to completing assignments entrusted to him.

Mr. Mutale expressed gratitude to ICPAU for the recognition and dedicated the honour to his colleagues at URSB, noting that time is one of the most valuable resources we have, and appreciated the recognition for something he considers both a personal principle and a professional duty. He acknowledged the support from the Registrar General, Ms. Mercy K. Kainobwisho, for empowering staff to attend such high-profile events.

The 30th Annual Seminar brought together professionals from across Uganda to discuss contemporary issues in the accounting profession, governance, and business leadership. The recognition of Mr. Mutale highlights not only his individual dedication but also URSB’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of discipline, integrity, and excellence in public service.
