Empowering Futures: URSB Promotes Innovation at Gayaza High Career Exhibition

Gayaza High School recently hosted an enriching Career Exhibition, attracting prominent national institutions, including the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB).

The event, held at the school’s main sports ground on Saturday, offered an important platform for students to explore various career options, gain valuable insights, and connect with professionals shaping Uganda’s future.

URSB engaged students through interactive sessions covering topics such as business registration, entrepreneurship, intellectual property rights, and the significance of innovation within formal business frameworks.

Additionally, students discovered exciting career opportunities within the Bureau, including internship and mentorship programs aimed at empowering young professionals.

Mr. Kalyango Patrick, the Education Officer and Head of the Careers Department at Gayaza High School, welcomed the Bureau’s participation, stating, “Today has been a remarkable day for us. We organize this Career Day annually, and this year we are proud to host you and other institutions to inspire our students.”

He emphasized that students learning about business registrations and the opportunities offered by URSB inspire them to align their career aspirations with national service.

The Bureau’s participation in the Gayaza High School Career Day resonates with its objective of public education, its commitment to interact with educational institutions, and the community.

The exhibition also attracted numerous other institutions and partners, all providing insights into various industries and professional paths. Together, they reinforced the shared message that the future is brighter when guided by informed and motivated youth.
