Quality Champions drive URSB’s ISO Certification journey

The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is making significant strides towards ISO Certification, with Quality Champions appointed from each directorate to spearhead the implementation of the Quality
Management System (QMS).

These champions are pivotal in embedding quality into the organisational culture. Through weekly training sessions, they have documented critical business processes that define daily responsibilities across the Bureau.

Under the guidance of senior consultant Mr. Vincent Ddamulira, the champions have progressed steadily and are now transforming the critical processes documentation into visual flowcharts, simplifying operations for better clarity.

Listed to run from December 2024 to December 2025, this initiative aims to build stakeholder trust, enhance customer satisfaction, and standardize operations to reduce reliance on individual performance.

As URSB commits to this journey, it positions itself as a benchmark for quality service delivery, showcasing the vital role of quality management in achieving excellence and inspiring other institutions to follow suit.
