URSB, UFMI hold meeting to discuss AGM extension request
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) and Uganda Federation of Movie Industry (UFMI) held a crucial meeting at 9:00 AM on Level 1 Boardroom to discuss important matters concerning UFMI’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The meeting brought together key figures, including Mr. Ronald Lutunda, the Acting Director of Copyright and Neighbouring Rights, and Mr. Daniel Kazibwe (Ragga Dee), Chairman of UFMI, alongside other members.
One of the primary points of discussion was the need for an extension of the AGM meeting date. The request was made to allow adequate time for the preparation of key documents, including the audited financials and other related materials. The members expressed concerns over insufficient time to finalise everything needed for a smooth and comprehensive AGM.
The meeting highlighted the importance of proper planning for the AGM to ensure that all matters, especially financial reports, are properly reviewed and presented.
