URSB applauds government support during high-level learning visit
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) Deputy Registrar General, Mr. Alex Anganya, reaffirmed URSB’s commitment to collaborating with government ministries to drive legal and administrative reforms during a high-level delegation visit to the Bureau last week.
The high-level delegation of permanent secretaries and officials from the Chandler Institute of Governance in Singapore on a learning visit to the URSB, was led by Ms. Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye, the Head of Public Service and Secretary to the Cabinet.
“We are always eager to work with ministries that advocate for innovation and legal reforms,” Mr. Anganya stated. “Our Board of Directors plays a crucial role in ensuring accountability and providing strategic direction. We take pride in our team, which is innovative, dedicated, and consistently delivering results.”
As part of this visit, the delegation toured the Uganda Business Facilitation Centre (UBFC) to observe firsthand the advancements in service delivery and the impact of ongoing reforms.
Under the guidance of the Deputy Registrar General, URSB officials from various directorates showcased key innovations that have transformed registration services, making them more accessible and efficient.
Mr. Anganya also expressed gratitude for the government’s ongoing support, emphasising its essential role in URSB’s growth and achievements. The visit highlighted the importance of inter-agency cooperation in strengthening business registration, investment promotion, and economic transformation in Uganda.
