URSB celebrates Ramadhan with Iftar dinner for Muslim staff
In a spirit of unity and inclusivity, URSB hosted a special Iftar dinner last week at the UBFC rooftop in honour of its Muslim staff observing the holy month of Ramadhan.
The elegant gathering brought together top management and Muslim employees for an evening of reflection and appreciation.
Representing the Deputy Registrar General, Mr. Arthur Kwesiga, Director of ICT & Innovation, reaffirmed URSB’s commitment to fostering a culture of inclusivity and support within the organisation.
“Beyond our daily work, we are a team that supports and uplifts one another. We extend our best wishes to you and your families during this blessed holy month. May this season bring you peace and joy,” he said.
Speaking on behalf of the Muslim staff, Mr. Mustapher Ntale, Director of Business Registration, expressed gratitude to the URSB leadership for organising the event.
“We thank God for the gift of life and the opportunity to come together to break our fast, courtesy of our employer, URSB. What is most important is to focus on the purpose of fasting and observe it sincerely,” he remarked.
He further commended his fellow Muslim colleagues for their discipline and commitment, encouraging them to carry these values beyond Ramadhan into their daily lives.
The evening proceeded with Iftar prayers, a significant moment of gratitude to Allah, followed by a sumptuous meal, allowing everyone to break their fast. Thereafter, Ms. Kainobwisho, the Registrar General, presented gift hampers to attendees, reinforcing the organisation’s appreciation and encouragement during the Ramadhan season.
