SIMPO conducts successful second Users Meeting
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) successfully held a SIMPO Users Meeting bringing together over 140 participants including Banks, Money lenders, SACCO’s, Non Deposit Taking Institutions and Law Firms that file as representatives for other institutions. The engagement aimed to deepen collaboration, share updates on the SIMPO system upgrade, and explore new developments designed to improve efficiency and service delivery.
The Security Interest in Movable Property Registry System (SIMPO) platform continues to play a critical role in supporting URSB’s mandate through improved workflow automation, data management, and integration across key service areas. The meeting provided an opportunity for users to share their experiences, highlight challenges, and propose enhancements to further optimize the system’s functionality.
Participants were taken through demonstrations of the latest features in the SIMPO upgrade, including improved user interfaces, enhanced data security, and streamlined reporting tools. These updates are expected to increase productivity, promote transparency, and facilitate faster decision-making within the Bureau.
Speaking at the meeting, the Assistant Commissioner Registration Services, Ms. Kakwezi Stella Olimi, reaffirmed their commitment to continuous improvement and user support.
She encouraged participants to embrace the new developments and actively contribute to refining the system. The discussions underscored the importance of innovation and open feedback in ensuring the SIMPO system remains strong and responsive to evolving operational needs.
This annual meeting positions SIMPO as a key driver of efficiency and accountability in URSB’s service delivery.
