On 13th March 2025, diplomats, government officials, and business leaders convened at Uganda Business Facilitation Centre to champion reforms, strengthen global partnerships, and promote Uganda as a top investment destination.
On 12th March 2025, at the Uganda Business Facilitation Center in Kololo, the Registrar General and the Presidential Adviser on Creatives discussed boosting creative sector monetization through improved stakeholder coordination and URSB reforms ahead of World Intellectual Property Day.


URSB Communications Team Engages at Africa Global PR Week 2025
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence in communication, stakeholder engagement, and corporate visibility with the participation of its Communications and Corporate Affairs staff in the Africa Global PR Week 2025, held at the Mövenpick Hotel in Nairobi from 27th – 29th August 2025.
Representing URSB at the prestigious gathering were Mr. Denis Nabende, Ag. Principal Communications Officer, and Mr. Steven Douglas Baryevuga, Senior Communications Officer. The two officers are actively engaging in sessions that bring together professionals in public relations, branding, media, and corporate communications from across Africa and beyond.
The Africa Global PR Week provides a platform to share knowledge, explore emerging trends, and strengthen partnerships within the evolving communications landscape.
By participating, URSB aims to harness global best practices that will enrich its strategies in stakeholder engagement, brand positioning, digital communication, and public information dissemination.
This participation reflects URSB’s broader vision of adopting innovative approaches in corporate communication while enhancing transparency and public trust. The insights gained by the communications team will contribute to refining URSB’s role as a model public institution that not only registers but also communicates effectively to empower businesses and protect rights.
