Registrar General Joins Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba Birthday Celebration

On August 15, 2025, the Registrar General, Ms. Mercy K. Kainobwisho, graced the birthday celebrations of His Grace Dr. Samuel Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda.

The event, held at the Archbishop’s residence, was graced by religious leaders from various denominations, friends, and family to commemorate his 63rd birthday.

As part of URSB’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, the Registrar General, Ms. Mercy K. Kainobwisho, presented a generous cash donation on behalf of URSB aimed at supporting the Archbishop’s charitable initiatives. This contribution expounds on the bureau’s dedication to uplifting communities and supporting causes that align with its values.

The longstanding relationship between URSB and the Church of Uganda has been marked by collaborative efforts in various community development projects. Notably, the Archbishop has previously officiated at URSB’s Annual Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast, emphasizing the importance of faith and service in public institutions.

Attending the birthday celebration was a good gesture of URSB’s continued support for the Church’s mission and its role in fostering unity and service within the community. The event celebrated the Archbishop’s life and ministry but also highlighted the ongoing partnership between the Church and URSB in promoting social welfare and ethical leadership across Uganda.
