URSB Rallies Behind Uganda Cranes Jersey Day
The nation is still buzzing after the Uganda Cranes’ dramatic clash against South Africa at Namboole Stadium. In a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats, Uganda fought hard, holding the South Africans to a dramatic draw. That unexpected result secured the Cranes a spot in the quarterfinals, setting up a fierce showdown with the West African giants, Senegal.
URSB proudly joined the rest of the nation in rallying behind the national team through an exciting “Uganda Cranes Jersey Day.” Staff across UBFC Office, Georgian House and Posta Office turned out in their Uganda Cranes jerseys of Black, Yellow and Red, colours of our national flag, filling the spaces with a sense of togetherness, transforming the offices into a space of national pride.

The gesture highlighted the Bureau’s belief in teamwork, resilience, and excellence, values that resonate both in service delivery and in national pride.
Smiles, dances, and football chants filled the air, manifesting the energy and unity that football brings to the Ugandans.
For URSB, this was not just about football; it was about solidarity. The jerseys symbolized a collective hope that the Cranes would overcome Senegal’s roaring “Lions” and march into the semi-finals.
“We are lifting our boys high,” one staff member said.
As the quarterfinal kicks off, all eyes are once again turned to Namboole. The Cranes have already shown their resilience, and with the support of passionate fans, from the stadium stands to the URSB corridors.
