URSB Welcomes New Staff, Reinforcing Commitment to Excellence

The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) has ushered in a new cohort of staff members with an extensive induction program designed to equip them with the essential knowledge, values, and vision to excel in their roles and further advance the institution’s objectives.

Hosted at the UBFC auditorium in Kololo, the induction program was attended by the newly recruited officers across various departments, including Internal Audit, ICT, Business Registration, Compliance and Enforcement, Finance and Administration, Copyright, and the Division of Communications and Corporate Affairs (DCCA). This initiative is part of URSB’s ongoing commitment to align all staff with its central mandate.

The program featured several informative sessions, one of which was led by Senior Communications Officer Mr. Steven Baryevuga. His presentation covered the division’s core activities, provided insights into URSB’s operational framework, and set clear expectations for customer service excellence.

Department commissioners also took the opportunity to guide the recruits. Mr. Byamukama Geofrey, the Commissioner for Human Resources, emphasized the importance of continuous professional development. “Let us serve with dedication, celebrate our successes, and prepare diligently for life beyond formal employment,” he encouraged the staff.

URSB plays a critical role in business registration, intellectual property protection, insolvency administration, and other vital legal documentation services. The addition of fresh talent signifies a solid commitment to service excellence and positions the bureau to meet the evolving needs of the community it serves.
