URSB Showcases Service Excellence at Africa Public Service Day 2025
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) proudly took part in the Africa Public Service Day (APSD) 2025 celebrations held at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, where the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja served as the Guest of Honour.
Under the theme “Enhancing the Agility and Resilience of Public Institutions to Achieve Equitable Governance and Rapidly Address Historical Service Delivery Gaps,” the event was attended by various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in a display of commitment to public service and innovation.
URSB stood out during the celebrations with an interactive exhibition stall that provided on-the-spot business registration services and advisory on intellectual property rights, company formalization, and online registration systems.
The Prime Minister commended URSB’s efforts and emphasized the importance of decentralizing such services to reach the grassroots.
The celebrations followed a spirited APSD Sports Gala held earlier at Makerere University Sports Grounds, where URSB joined other MDAs in games such as football, athletics, chess, tug of war, and sack racing, strengthening bonds and teamwork across the public sector.
The bureau’s participation was an example of dedication to ssservice, innovation, and national development. The Prime Minister’s address highlighted the pillars of Uganda’s public service transformation: automation, peacebuilding, and investment readiness, principles that align closely with URSB’s strategic direction.
Africa Public Service Day continues to be a powerful platform to celebrate the impact and evolution of public institutions across the continent.
