Danish Embassy hosts spectacular celebration of partnerships
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) was honoured to actively participate in the Royal Danish Embassy’s second annual Partnership Day held on 5th June 2025, in Kampala. The event, themed “Power of Partnerships – Delivering Together for Local Impact,” brought together key stakeholders from across sectors to reaffirm the importance of inclusive dialogue, collaboration, and shared action.
Inspired by Denmark’s Folkemøde (“People’s Meeting”) and Uganda’s Baraza tradition, the celebration provided a colorful platform for open discussion, reflection, and innovation.
URSB’s delegation was expertly led by Ms. Maria Nyangoma, Assistant Commissioner for Trademarks and Geographical Indications, Ms. Patricia Opoka, Assistant Commissioner Document Registration and Licensing and Ms. Marion Tugumisirize, Senior Registration Officer who contributed to conversations about inclusive governance, sustainable development, and locally-driven impact, recognising the transformative potential of strong partnerships among governments, civil society, businesses, and citizens.
“As URSB, we echo the Danish Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Signe Winding Albjerg’s message on the value of trust, shared responsibility, and joint problem-solving,” said Ms. Nyangoma. “We acknowledge the Danish Embassy for this meaningful initiative and look forward to continued collaboration rooted in dialogue, mutual respect, and a vision for impactful change”.
