The Most Rev. Archbishop Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu was the main celebrant and happily presided over the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) Annual Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast last Thursday, a cherished tradition bringing together the URSB board, management, staff and partners to reflect on achievements and foster gratitude.
The two-hour morning event was hosted under the theme ‘Give thanks in all circumstances’ .
Held in a spirit of unity and giving thanks, the event highlighted URSB’s placement of God as the supreme, celebrating the 2024 milestones.
The Archbishop, in his keynote address, emphasized the importance of faith, ethics, and commitment in serving the community. He said the Church of Uganda worked well with URSB and that praying together made the bond better.
He commended URSB for integrating spiritual reflection into its organizational culture and encouraged continued dedication to excellence and public service.
The thanksgiving prayer breakfast emphasized the importance of gratitude, prayer, and service, aligning with the Archbishop’s broader spiritual focus on encouraging Christians to find strength through prayer in all aspects of life. The celebration also highlighted unity and ethical leadership in the workplace, which Archbishop Kaziimba has consistently advocated for throughout his tenure.
He encouraged all present to continue to seek God’s guidance in all their aspects of life, and appreciate the stature in which they were created. He asked all to drop anxiety and fear since God had better plans for everyone.
