Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Leading the development, review and implementation of talent management policies, strategies, frameworks and guidelines to support the attraction, retention and development of human resource.
    • Guiding workforce planning processes and providing technical advice to management on strategies for effective recruitment.
    • Overseeing the designing of performance management frameworks and the implementation and monitoring of performance appraisal systems.
    • Coordinating the Learning and Development function through conducting training needs assessments, designing staff development programmes and monitoring the implementation of capacity building initiatives.
    • Guiding succession planning and leadership development programmes and advising management on leadership development strategies.
    • Promoting employee engagement and organisational culture initiatives. 
    • Leading the development and implementation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategies to promote a fair, inclusive and supportive work environment.
    • Coordinating staff mentorship and coaching for optimal performance and professional development.
    • Supervising, mentoring and coaching staff under the Culture and Talent Management function and monitoring their performance.
    • Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Person Specifications

Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in either Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, Commerce, Organisation Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Counselling and Guidance or any related field from a recognised University or institution.
    • A Master’s Degree in either Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, Arts, Commerce (Management Option), Organisation Psychology, Business Administration (Management Option), Industrial Psychology, Counselling and Guidance or any related field from a recognised University or institution.

Working Experience

At least nine (9) years’ relevant Working Experience in talent management, organizational culture, learning and development, and performance management, three (3) of which should have been at the level of Principal Officer or an equivalent level in a public or reputable private institution.
