URSB’s Mass Business Registration Clinics target Nansana and Kasubi

The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) continues its nationwide mass business registration initiative, with the next phase of registration clinics set to take place in Nansana and Kasubi. The clinics in these areas will take place starting Monday, 13th October, to October 18th, 2025.

This effort, dubbed “kiriEasy,” aims to formalize informal businesses, granting them legal recognition and access to economic opportunities.

The clinics provide on-site business registration services, legal document registration support, and intellectual property awareness, ensuring that entrepreneurs benefit from the advantages of formal business status, including access to financial services, government contracts, and protection of business names.

Speaking on the initiative, Ms. Patricia Opoka, Assistant Commissioner, Document Registration and Licensing, emphasized the importance of formalization in strengthening Uganda’s business sector, stating, “Registering a business is the first step toward sustainability and growth. Our mass business registration clinics bring the services closer to the business owners, making the process easier and more efficient.”

Business owners in these areas are encouraged to take advantage of the free advisory services and register their businesses to unlock growth and compliance benefits.

The mass business registration campaign is part of URSB’s broader efforts to streamline business operations, boost investment confidence, and enhance Uganda’s business environment.
