Entrepreneurs Showcase Innovation at BRAP Exhibition
Entrepreneurs under the 4th Cohort of the Business Rescue and Aftercare Program (BRAP) displayed creativity and innovation during an exhibition held at the Uganda Business Facilitation Centre in Kololo.
The exhibition, a highlight of the BRAP program, provided a platform for participants to showcase their products and services, share business ideas, and learn from one another. It also served as a space for experimentation, networking, and practical learning, allowing entrepreneurs to test new ideas and receive feedback to strengthen their enterprises.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Barbara Kilei, Country Manager for Uganda at the International Development Law Organisation (IDLO), was guided through the exhibition by the Registrar General, Ms. Mercy K. Kainobwisho. Together, they interacted with the entrepreneurs, who explained their business models, innovations, and future growth plans.
Ms. Kilei commended the participants for their creativity and resilience, noting that such initiatives help strengthen Uganda’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. She emphasized the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in business development.
The BRAP program, implemented under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), supports enterprises to recover, restructure, and build long-term sustainability. It also aligns with National Development Plan IV (NDP IV) objectives of promoting a stable business environment, good governance, and inclusive growth.
The exhibition demonstrated the program’s impact in empowering small and medium enterprises to turn local innovation into national growth.
