URSB Gears Up for African Public Service Day with Sports, Service, and Spirit

The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is set to showcase both athletic ability and public service excellence during the African Public Service Day (APSD) celebrations, with staff members gearing up to participate in a week-long Sports Gala from 27th June to 4th July 2025 at the Makerere University Sports Grounds.

URSB will field spirited teams in football, volleyball, athletics, sack race, and the ever-competitive tug of war, joining other Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in fostering teamwork, wellness, and partnerships under the APSD 2025 theme.

The African Public Service Day (APSD) is celebrated annually on June 23rd by African Union member states to recognize the contributions of public servants and public sector organizations. This year, APSD will be commemorated at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds and aims to reflect on the role, challenges, and achievements of the public service, promoting innovation and efficiency in service delivery.

URSB will participate in the APSD Walk and Exhibition at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, offering on-the-spot business registration and advisory services to the public.

These activities reflect URSB’s continued dedication to engaging citizens, celebrating public service, and strengthening institutional visibility. As the APSD celebrations approach, the Bureau looks forward to not only bringing home medals but also making meaningful connections with the people it serves.
