Administrative professionals gather for capacity building workshop in Mukono

The Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals in Uganda (ASAPU) successfully hosted a two-day professional development workshop at Colline Hotel in Mukono District on 25th – 26th April 2025. The event brought together administrative professionals from across the country for training and
networking opportunities.

With a focus on upskilling and professional growth, the workshop aimed to enhance participants’ capabilities while elevating the recognition of administrative professionals within organisations nationwide.

The event provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and experience sharing among peers.

Hajjati Sharifah Buzeki, Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), served as Guest of Honour, delivering remarks on the critical role administrative professionals play in organisational efficiency and effectiveness.

During the closing ceremony, Ms. Sylvia Brilliant Namuwawu, Senior Administrative Officer representing Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Guest of Honour in recognition of her exemplary service.

Workshop sessions covered topics including digital transformation in administrative work, communication excellence, and modern office management. Participants departed with enhanced skills and renewed commitment to their professional development.
