URSB official guides young entrepreneurs at Muni University event
Mr. Ephraim Basalirwa of the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) delivered an impactful presentation to aspiring entrepreneurs at Muni University in Arua district during an event organised by the Fundi Menta Project.
Speaking to an enthusiastic audience of students and young business owners, Mr. Basalirwa outlined the comprehensive range of services offered by URSB, emphasising their importance for business formalisation and growth.
“Understanding proper business registration is the foundation of entrepreneurial success,” Mr. Basalirwa explained while detailing processes for company registration, intellectual property protection, and business documentation.
The session, part of Fundi Menta Project’s ongoing entrepreneurship development initiative, provided attendees with practical insights into navigating regulatory requirements when launching new ventures.
Students particularly appreciated the question-and-answer segment, where Basalirwa addressed specific concerns about registration fees, timelines, and the benefits of formal business status in accessing financing and government procurement opportunities.
The event underscores URSB’s commitment to nurturing Uganda’s next generation of business leaders through educational outreach.
