CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
CONSULTANCY FOR ORGANISATIONAL REVIEW AND JOB RECLASSIFICATION
The African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) is an Intergovernmental Organization created in 1976 under the Lusaka Agreement concluded under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Membership of the organization is open to all members of the African Union (AU) or of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). The present members of the Organization are: Botswana, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Swaziland, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. ARIPO wishes to conduct an organizational review and job reclassification exercise for the encumbered positions in the Organization as part of periodic organizational planning and review. Therefore ARIPO seeks to engage a Consultant from any part of the world to undertake organisational review and job reclassification in accordance with the International Civil Service Commission standards. The assignment shall involve benchmarking with other analogous Regional and International/Intergovernmental Organizations.
The Consultant should possess a relevant Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree with at least ten (10) years’ proven organizational review and job reclassification experience in Intergovernmental Organizations and must not be a staff member of any of the governing bodies of ARIPO. The Consultant can be an individual or a body corporate. In the case of body corporates, the firm shall be evaluated based on the Lead Consultant’s qualifications.

Deadline: Submissions of proposals shall be by email not later than March 9, 2021. This call is not restricted to Consultants/Firms from the ARIPO Member States.
