URSB PARTNERS WITH MUBS TO ENABLE ACCESS TO BUSINESS RELATED INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE DISSEMINATION IN UGANDA

Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is a body corporate established by the URSB Act Cap 210 and is responsible for Business, Intellectual Property, and Civil Registrations and handles all Insolvency Matters with the Registrar General being the Official Receiver.
Makerere University Business School (MUBS) is a Body Corporate which was established by the Universities and other Tertiary institutions Act of 2001 as Public Tertiary Institute.
Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will enable sharing of business sector information amongst the two agencies. The MoU will also bring about:
The Registrar General URSB Mr.Bemanya Twebaze noted that, “signing of the MoU would go a long way in promoting innovation, and enterprise development such that Uganda realizes its great potential as a top investment destination”.
Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony held at the URSB Boardroom at Georgian House in Kampala, the MUBS Deputy Principal Associate Professor Moses Muhwezi noted that, “the MOU was yet another milestone in bridging the gap in information for Research and will greatly enhance the quality of the Research”
